Creating lasting social change and reducing the environmental impact of our food systems is a long-term process. That’s why the WaterFarmers approach is based on creating capacity to manage aquaponic systems, not just selling packaged kits. The team works closely with clients to ensure a mutual understanding and agreement on the technical details and management responsibilities of each system.

As an emerging modern food production technique, successful aquaponics projects require a diverse and unique combination of skill sets. Drawing from our knowledge of mechanical engineering, construction, greenhouse climate control, aquaculture, and hydroponic food production, our team can design and build an appropriate system for you. Through staff training and ongoing management advice, we create the capacity for you and/or your organization to manage an aquaponics system.

Through detailed discussions with our clients, the deliverables and expectations of each project are clarified, alongside developing quotes and agreeing on the project cost. In our experience, this approach to projects and partnerships leads to successful systems and satisfied clients.
